The Fixed Assets Management System (FAS) maintains accurate information on all assets, property and equipment and their location.
- Maintains a complete history of a specific asset throughout its life cycle: ‘when’ and from ‘whom’ it was purchased and ‘when’ and ‘how’ it was disposed or sold
- Manages cost in the “original” currency as well as its “local” equivalent
- Has the capability of associating an asset to an employee if needed; controls disposal and transfers, manages warranty and maintenance contracts
- Keeps track of expenses incurred and maintains a historical log on depreciation
- Manages payment certificates issued to clients and those approved from subcontractors
- Linked to the staff and labor payrolls, the Purchasing Inventory Control System, Telephone Call Accounting System, and other systems
- Generates reports that provide management with a clear picture on the financial position of the project in terms of budgeting, scheduling, forecasting vs. actual
