RockWise CEMIS - Inventory Control System
The Inventory Control System (ICS) provides project management the means to control the flow of material between the various project sites and warehouses.
- Manages multi-warehouses within each branch or business unit
- Manages stock quantities at the level of each warehouse as well as the global quantities available across all warehouses within the business unit. In addition, it allows defining the minimum, maximum as well as the reorder level for every item at the level of the warehouse or the business unit
- Grouping of materials by brand, categories, suppliers, manufacturers, and expiry dates
- Manages items with their alternatives and inter-changeable components in order to facilitate spare parts substitution
- Controls how materials are inspected once they are received, damages are reported, insurance claims are processed, and missing items are handled and returned to suppliers
- Facilitates the issuing of material to project sites and returned items to warehouse, transferring between warehouses, administering stock availability and re-ordering procedures
- Facilitates the means of issuing material and spare parts to the shop repairs and maintenance units
- Facilitates the means of grouping the stock items by value and itemizes them with respect to different groups in order to have better control during stock count that can be performed at any moment on selective items without interrupting the work of the storekeepers
- Facilitates grouping of stock items using ABC techniques
- Manages stock items with expiry dates and manufacturer’s batch numbers
- Integration with the Purchasing and Maintenance systems
